Description:

Insight prepared a program amendment to modify an existing City of Eden CDBG grant to utilize surplus grant funds to renovate a historic school building. The rehabilitation/modernization activities proposed include lead abatement and the replacement of the roof, windows, as well as replacing plumbing, floors, and HVAC system to the historic Draper Elementary School. The current plan for the future use of the building includes after school programs, business center, and recreational activities. A second program amendment is currently being drafted to request additional funding for the project.
